Room 7: Petra
Room number 7 – Petra : The room is located on the upper floor of the main building and its private balcony overlooks the patio where the well established hackberry tree is planted. The views to the right and left are the splendid olive trees and face the east so the impressive early morning sunrise can be appreciated. The room is orientated towards Petra, hence the reason for naming the room after the village. Petra was the birthplace of the missionary Fray Juniper Serra and also is the headquarters of all municipalities in the region.
The bedroom is spacious with a private balcony and contains a large double bed 2.10 metres wide or two individual beds each 1.05 metres wide. There is a closet, individually controlled air-conditioning (hot and cold according to the season), DTT and satellite television, HDMI and USB sockets for your laptops, gadgets, a mini-bar and a safe.
The private bathroom consists of a walk-in shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and a hairdryer.
Petra is well-known for very good restaurants and wineries. Market day is held on every Wednesday and is well worth a visit. Also worth spending some time is a visit to the hermitage of Bonany. The main square is a popular meeting point for many cyclists.
