Room 6: Sineu

Room number 6 – Sineu: The room is located on the upper floor of the main building. The view from the balcony is excellent ,diaphanous and covers a wide area of beautiful countryside with spectacular sunsets. Bearing right, the town of Sineu is located. Geographically it is the centre of the island and is the capital of the region. In previous times it was the official residence -during the summer- of the Kings of Mallorca. A visit to the parish church with its adjacent bell tower is definitely worth a visit. The story goes that the locals from Sant Joan did not have a bell tower so they tried to steal the one in Sineu. They were stopped in their tracks but the bell tower remained where they were stopped, slightly separated from the church.

The bedroom is spacious with a private balcony and contains a large double bed 2.10 metres wide or two individual beds each 1.05 metres wide. There is a closet, individually controlled air-conditioning (hot and cold according to the season), DTT and satellite television, HDMI and USB sockets for your laptops, gadgets, a mini-bar and a safe.

The private bathroom consists of a walk-in shower, washbasin, heated towel rail and a hairdryer.

Sineu is a monumental village that should not be missed….it´s only five minutes drive from the hotel. Every Wednesday they have the largest and most authentic market on the island. It has a train station and some excellent restaurants and wineries.
